GRANT FUNDING HITS THE MARK FOR MONARO AIR RIFLE CLUB

The Monaro Air Rifle Club is set to undergo an upgrade courtesy of a $25,000 NSW Government grant, the Member for Monaro John Barilaro announced today.
The funding will be used to upgrade the carpark and undergo road works at the popular facility in Cooma.
“With a number of elderly members in the club, it’s important that they can access the clubhouse easily,” said Mr Barilaro.
“This injection of funds will help to ensure that facilities are up to scratch for members now and into the future.
“It gives me great pleasure to assist local clubs by providing the funds to increase standard and quality of sport facilities in the Monaro.”
Monaro Air Rifle Club President Tracy Mason welcomed today’s funding announcement.
“Our club would not be in a financial position to cover even the basic costs of such a project,” said Ms Mason.
“We are very grateful to John Barilaro for his support and assistance.
“I look forward to seeing the benefit of this upgrade to our club and its members.”
